Hanoi, Vietnam – Unitus Impact was recognized by the Vietnamese Government at Techfest 2016 for its role as one of the leading organizations supporting start-ups in Vietnam. Techfest is one of the largest annual events for Vietnam’s startup community. The two-day event in Hanoi attracted more than 2,000 attendees, including entrepreneurs, senior government officials and investors, both from Vietnam and abroad. It was hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology and co-organized by several government ministries, agencies and other startup ecosystem builders in Vietnam. In his keynote address, Vietnam’s Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam told the audience that the government was highly supportive of efforts to develop the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Vietnam and hoped that Vietnam would become a ‘startup nation’. Unitus Impact’s token of appreciation was presented by Chu Ngoc Anh, Minister of Science and Technology and accepted by Shuyin Tang, Unitus Impact Principal for the Mekong Region.
